A company within SDL Group, Scotty Doors, are proud of their track record in delivering high-quality Stackdoor installations across Australia and New Zealand. Their journey with Stackdoors began in 2018 with the installation of four Stackdoors at a Tiffany jewellery store in Sydney.
This led to a second installation for the luxury jewellery brand, but this time in Melbourne, where only one Stackdoor was required, but the size of the opening covered an area of nearly 40 square metres!
By the time Tiffany’s called upon Scotty Doors for their third store in Perth, they were well aware of the advantages of using the stacking grille system to protect their luxury brand, while maintaining the exclusive, high-quality appearance their label demanded.
The new Tiffany store in Sydney is an impressive retail space with a double-height entrance displaying a beautiful crystal lighting chandelier as well as product displays – definitely worth showing, even when the store is closed at night.
This was an ideal application for Stackdoor, as visibility is such a key feature. However, the double elevation meant that three of the Stackdoor grilles needed to be installed at great height, which brought new challenges to the team at Scotty Doors.
Not only that, but the ground-level Stackdoor spanned almost 10 metres in width – a notable installation on its own.
Despite the complexity of working at height, the team from Scotty Doors successfully completed the installation, giving them invaluable experience which no doubt, led to the second Tiffany project in Melbourne.
This project involved a Stackdoor of massive proportions, covering an area of nearly 40 square meters. The sheer size of the product required presented an exciting challenge, but the team worked diligently to deliver a seamless and visually impressive security solution.
When store three came along in Perth, the Stackdoor grille system was an obvious choice for this prestigious brand to ensure maximum visibility of their products while not compromising on security. Scotty Doors installed a further two Stackdoor grilles to their high-quality standard.
