These beautifully designed stores are modelled in a ‘contemporary Roman’ aesthetic, using their signature brand gold colour and marble architectural detailing.
Queen Street, Auckland is home to a number of high-value brands, so it is no surprise that Bvlgari takes its place amongst stores such as Rolex, Gucci, Dior and Prada. However, being in a main street Bvlgari needed a security solution that demonstrated an ability to combine functionality with refined design; still allowing people to browse their windows after opening hours but being very discreet when the retailer was open.
Having provided Stackdoor stacking grilles to a number of prestigious brands throughout Australia, Scotty Doors, part of the SDL Group, were approached to see if they could help, making this their first Stackdoor project in New Zealand.
While the entrance space for this store was not huge, the Stackdoor system was no less impressive. Featuring horizontal rails finished in powder coated gold, with stainless steel pins, the Stackdoor exudes elegance and complements the luxurious aesthetic of the brand and store.
Whist the store is open, the small stacking zone for the grille ensures there is no unsightly hood box and the Stackdoor is virtually invisible, as the colour-matched gold side profiles blend with the gold frames of the windows.
