Our client needed to have a security solution for an underground car park, beneath a residential area of apartments. Like many city developments, the security solution for the car park needed to meet practical requirements while also aligning with the modern architecture of the urban residential requirement.
They contacted Lockhart Entrance Systems, based in Haderup, Denmark. As the space above the opening was very limited, a standard rolling shutter or grill would not have given the clearance height required. A stainless steel Stackdoor Standard was suggested. Although Lockhart did not know the product well, they were able to install their very first Stackdoor in just 2 hours!
With up to 80% open area through the stack-and-pin design this allowed for natural ventilation and reduced build-up of exhaust fumes – making it ideal for enclosed spaces like car parks.
